The SAS Data Analytics training has reached its second day today with a total of 14 trainees being in attendance.

Though riddled with several hiccups in its initial stages, the exercise appeared to gain momentum nevertheless as almost everything kicked off as planned and members delved deeper into the SAS programming curriculum provided by the “Education” division of SAS Institute.

The success of the day was attributed to the fact that the essential elements of the course could now be fathomed and the students went on to code with confidence under the able guidance of their instructor, Mr. Arnoux van Rensburg-an SAS Institute technical trainer based in South Africa.

And though there are still some rubrics posing a challenge to the learners, it is hoped that by the end of the training-that is Friday-many of the burning questions will have been addressed; and even if not, members will have been equipped with essential reference materials for clarification of doubt or for self-advancement.

The program continues tomorrow, where it is expected that much more in form of knowledge will be gained.
